The Complete Story of Your Defence Day

A PhD graduation is a unique ceremonial blend of academic rigor, emotion, and celebration. Here is how I document every key milestone:

Beadle Briefing & Layman's Talk

Private Briefing & Presentation

Present from the private beadle briefing behind the scenes, followed by your layman's talk for family, friends, and colleagues in Omnia.

The Committee Defence

Academic Opposition & 'Hora Est'

Discreet, silent documentation of the formal academic opposition, committee dialogue, paranymph support, and the beadle's iconic entry.

Degree Conferral & Laudatio

Diploma Presentation & Laudatio

The official signing of the doctoral certificate (bulla), ceremonial congratulations, and the heartfelt speech (laudatio) by your promotor.

Portraits & Omnia Reception

Official Portraits & Reception

All official committee and paranymph portraits, extensive group photos with family and friends, followed by the celebratory reception in Omnia.
